Inn at Taughannock Falls

The staff was so friendly & service was great! Patrice took my friend,& I on a tour of the new bridal suite & made us some great drinks too. Dani checked us in & out in a timely manner & was so friendly. She came to our room to see if we need anything & even talked to us at breakfast to make sure everything was going good. The owner Carl & the chef Dirk made my husband feel welcomed and talk with him outside with the portable heaters! Even though the restaurant was closed for the winter months, they served a delicious breakfast & service was fabulous! We were able to take our dogs & had a beautiful view of the lake. Jetted hot tub was awesome,& room was really clean. This morning we had a New Year hike to the falls followed by hot chocolate at the coffee hut. We will definitely be back!

Perfect! Spent Christmas week here disconnecting from the city noise. Everyone on the Staff are incredibly friendly. Restaurant service was limited to continental breakfast due to holiday season but even that was excellent, well done by the Chef. Will plan to return in future. Thank you all for the great hospitality.

We stayed in the Falls Suite that is located at the Inn, and it was lovely. We love the old Victorian home. It was beautifully renovated. The room was very comfortable, had a fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was amazing with heated floors and a gorgeous shower. We loved that location, right next to the Falls and with a view of the lake. The staff was so friendly. We would stay here again.

We stayed at the Inn in one of the park side rooms. The room was lovely: clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved the large, updated bathroom with a tub and shower. It was convenient having a mini fridge and microwave too. The location was perfect. Right next to the room was the trail to Taughannock Falls. One night of our stay we had drinks at the bar and then dinner. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere for both. The website mentioned a continental breakfast and usually that means packaged products and mediocre coffee. They had a very nice set up with eggs, potatoes, tea and coffee, and pastries. The woman working the breakfast was so nice, she offered to get a piece of gluten-free bread and toast it for me and bring it out. It was so great to have that (it doesn't happen often!) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It was our favorite place on our trip.

As a vendor, photographing a wedding at the Inn at Taughannock Falls was such a joy. The setting is incredibly beautiful, with the falls and surrounding landscape creating a truly special backdrop. The day flowed seamlessly, the team was wonderful to work with, and there was no shortage of stunning moments to photograph. I would love the opportunity to photograph another wedding here again soon.

We just had our daughter’s wedding here at the Inn. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms, the staff, the food, everything was amazing. Shoutout to the owner Carl. He is clearly hands on making sure everything was perfect! And Dirk the chef. I’m still getting texts from friends and family that it was the best filet they have ever had. Wedding planner Christina was great to work with. Jillian and all the personal attendants the day of, were awesome. We are still on Cloud Nine. Thank you all for everything.

Beautiful, quaint inn with clean, comfortable rooms. Has a historic feel with modern amenities. The staff were so kind and helpful. Anytime we come to Ithaca we will stay here

What a beautiful inn! Right across the street from Cayuga Lake, this offers beautiful views. Beautiful white Adirondack chairs spread throughout the property with fire pits galore! The rooms are large and extremely comfortable. Wonderful mattresses and bedding little touches like bottles of water and Chocolate make all the difference. Dinner was fabulous. I had a fried pork chop, which I had never had before. It was delicious! And breakfast is included, which we didn’t take advantage of because we had to get out early and we were not hungry yet. The dining room is gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay! If we come back this way, we will definitely stay here.
